Monthly Training Plan - June 2010

A couple notables about May 2010 training:
  1. New single month mileage high: 278 miles
  2. Seven straight month of 200+ miles per month
  3. Continued with ab/core/lower back routine. 2 days on, 1 day off.
  4. Continued with my nutrition log. This has had a very positive impact on my training
  5. Injured my biceps - tore tendon of left biceps. This had an affect on my strength training throughout May.
Plans for June include:
  1. Improve on my first 50 mile race finish time with a new PR at The North Face Endurance Challenge on June 5, 2010.
  2. Restart strength training workouts at week 1 since I did not get through the 10-12 weeks straight due to my biceps injury mid-May
  3. Maintain high mileage month to prep for third 50 mile race on July 17, 2010
  4. Begin to review 100 mile races for Fall, 2010

    @Amy - I do my best to stay organized! It's difficult at times though, but it really helps me to keep to a schedule :)
